''Lila & Eve'' is a 2015 American drama film directed by Charles Stone III and written by Patrick Gilfillan. The film stars Viola Davis and Jennifer Lopez. It premiered on January 30, 2015 at the Sundance Film Festival. The film was released in North America on July 17, 2015 in a limited release and through video on demand by Samuel Goldwyn Films. == Plot == Lila (Viola Davis), whose son was murdered, joins a support group where she meets Eve (Jennifer Lopez), whose daughter died. Lila has difficulty getting satisfaction from the police, so Eve tells her she should find the killers herself. Lila is a single mother in Atlanta whose world comes to a grinding halt when her older son, Stephon (Aml Ameen) is killed when he is walking home one night and gets caught in the crossfire of a drive-by shooting. Barely able to take care of herself, much less her younger son Justin (Ron Caldwell), and with the police seemingly uninterested in getting to the bottom of what appears to be just another random shooting, Lila is at wit's end until she joins a support group for other mothers whose children have also been murdered. It is here that she meets Eve, a fellow group member who sits off to the side without ever participating, stalks off whenever she feels like it without anyone noticing and who seems less interested in moving on than in having her loss avenged by any means necessary. Naturally, Lila chooses her to be her sponsor, and one night, while engaging in some therapeutic home redecorating, they find a gun in Justin's bookbag, a discovery that horrifies Lila but inspires Eve to suggest that they go out to look for someone with information regarding Stephon's killing. Amazingly, the two do find someone with just the kind of knowledge that they are looking for but when he is inconsiderate enough to pull a gun on them, Eve shoots him dead and they flee. When it seems as if they have gotten away with it, the two start moving up the underworld chain of command in order to uncover who ordered the drive-by and to go full vigilante on anyone connected with the crime. With the death of the drug dealer, Alonzo Troys, that actually pulled the trigger in her son's death, they gain the attention of Ojeda (Rey Hernandez) the hired gun of the kingpin of the criminal organization. As the bodies begin piling up, Lila becomes increasingly unsure of the rightness of their actions while Eve becomes bolder and more daring with each successive hit until a rift finally develops between the two of them and Eve suddenly disappears. Around this time, their actions pique the interest of Detective Holliston (Shea Whigham), the cop assigned to Lila's case and it appears to only be a matter of time before he puts two and two together and figures out who is behind the killings. Lila and Justin are on the way to school one morning when while sitting at a stop a van drives up beside them and men are seen brandishing guns. Before they can start firing, Lila pulls out into traffic to escape them and is involved in an accident with several other cars, which ends up saving their lives as good samaritans check on them and call for emergency services, thereby stopping the gunmen from finishing them off. After Lila gets out of the hospital, she and Eve make up. They decide to finish what they started with the criminals. They rig her house with explosives and set up a trap to ensure that the local criminal kingpin Miguel Alejandro (Ian Casselberry) and his henchmen come after her by going to his home and shooting it up. Lila calls Alejandro to ensure he knows who shot up his home and bring him to her to end the drama once and for all. After he threatens to kill her, and she drops off Eve, Lila goes home to Ben. When he questions her about Eve and everyone wanting to meet her, she goes to show him a picture of her from her phone. Lila is confused when she finds that all the pictures that she had taken on her phone with Eve on the night they got dressed up and went to the club showed only her. During the course of the night, Lila comes to realize that Eve isn't real-she is actually a figment of her imagination, probably brought on by her grief and prescription drug use to deal with the grief. Lila has actually been doing everything by herself-she is responsible for all the murders of the drug dealers. In a late night conversation in the street, "Eve" talks her into finishing the job so that she can move on and keep Justin safe. Alejandro has Ojeda pose as a cable installer and break into Lila's house to kill her. He goes in the back door, but finds the home empty and calls Alejandro to come and wait for her to return so that he can be there when she dies. Little do they know that Lila is watching them on a laptop from Ben's house on the webcam set up on the laptop in her kitchen. After Alejandro and another hired gun show up at her house to wait for her, Lila asks Ben to watch out for Justin while she takes care of some things at home. She leaves Ben's place and walks across the street to her house (Eve is seen walking beside her as she approaches her front door). Lila lights a fuse that is sticking out the front door near the top lock and sets off a chain reaction inside, which confuses Alejandro and his men. Eve tells her she "can't stop it now" and Lila replies "but I can stop you" and sticks her key in the lock and opens the door. Alejandro turns and raises his gun to shoot her, but the house explodes into flames before he can pull the trigger. Lila is blown out onto the front yard from the blast, and the house burns as Ben arrives to take care of her. Detective Holliston tries to convince his partner, Detective Skaketti (Andre Royo) that Lila, and not a drug turf war, is behind all the killings. His partner tells him that if he takes that line of investigation any further he will be doing it on his own. After Lila is released from the hospital she goes to a group meeting where they have collected some donations to help her and Justin get back on their feet after all their things were destroyed in the explosion and resulting fire. Detective Holliston shows up and interrupts the meeting and tells Lila that she needs to come in to answer more questions about the incident to clear up a few things about the fire, shootings, and murders. He threatens to take in Ben and Justin if she doesn't go with him. She decides to go with him to protect them, but the other mothers stand up and step in on her behalf. She tries to stop them, but they talk over her protestations. They all tell Detective Holliston that they checked in on her and spent time with her, specifically on nights that the murders occurred, giving her the alibi that she needs. Detective Holliston looks at them and her and says "A room full of grieving mothers... hell of an alibi" before turning and walking away. The movie ends with Ben saying goodbye to Justin and Lila as they prepare to leave on a move to someplace else (not mentioned). As she is driving down the road, Justin asks his mother if she is okay, and she replies "No baby, but I'm gonna be...I have you". She starts singing a song that she and Eve sang together on one of their stakeouts of the criminals before a song starts playing and the scene fades to black and then the credits. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Lila & Eve」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
